A day in the life of the BeTactiCal Team
Big things are happening at BeTactiCal headquarters, located in the quaint bay-side village of St. Peters, Prince Edward Island. It’s here where the BeTactiCal team approaches each day with a “can-do” attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit. Known for their innovative approach to business development – the team embodies Mark Twain’s timeless words that “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.”
Meet the Team
With over 20 years of making systems more efficient, Jay is a co-founder of Analytic-OR and 3 Anchors Inc, and our technical lead for BeTactiCal development and implementation. With a PhD in Mathematics, Jay has a strong background in data analysis, algorithm development, cryptomathematics and software development. But don’t try and talk to him when his favourite hockey team is losing.
With political savvy and a strategic mind, Michelle is co-founder of Analytic-OR and 3 Anchors Inc and has over 20 years of communications and management experience. With a diverse resume working with government, not-for-profits and as a self-described “serial entrepreneur”, Michelle’s expertise, strategic approach and thirst for knowledge drives ingenuity at 3 Anchors. However, her favourite office space is in the forward cabin aboard her sailboat.
The PEI-wannabe member of the team, Nanci is a co-founder of 3 Anchors Inc and the founder of Channel 3 Communications in “nowhere near the ocean” Kingston, Ontario. A seasoned strategic communicator, Nanci is passionate about providing creative communications, knowledge translation and process optimization services. She is also an aspiring cellist with a keen desire to one day play in tune.
The Inspiration for BeTactiCal
Helping our clients communicate effectively is our passion. BeTactiCal grew out of our combined experience as strategic communicators looking for an all-in-one tool where we could write our communications strategy, see opportunities to capitalize on, plan our strategy tactics and measure its progress. After quickly realizing that such a product did not exist – we decided to create it. This was the beginning of BeTactiCal.
